wow....as an artist i'm the type of person thats open to critizism because perfection is what we artistes try to attain but ur comment on the my song i did with a friend Pearl...shud i quote? "Nice song and and the voice of Pearl is very sweet. However the song is ruined by the stupid rap incorporated into an extremely lovely song" ....Stupid rap? first of all, u obviously dont understand that, that song belongs to rap album..written and produced by the rapper himself(K-track). And it seems ur not a big fan of hiphop. thats ok, but doesnt give u the right to slash down a concept well packeged inorder to catch the attention of non hiphop listeners like urself. My girlfriend put the song up without my knowledge bcos she belived in the song. I guess i was wrong to think Afriville would show some sort of encouragement. But i guess these are the obstacles artistes go thru... P.S stay along with another song called complete is currently being used as a soundtrack for the BBC sponsored program "wetin dey" in Nigeria. And is also being played on radio stations in the nation's capital. U kno, it wud be wise not to repeat this sort of action again..i thought the aim of afriville was to encourage afrikan artistes...well it seems personal opinions made u too leave a comment like that. well, its ok. Plus...if u were a good listener to lyrics, then u would know for sure that the rap was far from "stupid". thank you.
